PROCEDURES FOR CATALOGUING AND ISSUING THESIS COPIES
DEADLINES AND GENERAL GUIDELINES
- According to the ATA signed on the day of your defense, the maximum deadline for delivery of the final file is 60 days from the date of the defense (in the event of delay, the student may have the defense canceled by the Graduate Committee, and a new defense will be necessary to homologate the title);
- The student's name must be identical to the birth/marriage certificate in all fields of the thesis/dissertation file (check accents, married name, remove abbreviations, etc.);
- For the file with the alternative model, it is compulsory to include the journal's authorization to use the article - model request to the journal at the end of this instruction.
- For dissertations/theses whose content deals with research involving human beings, animals, biosafety and genetic heritage, it is compulsory to include in the annexes the respective approval documents obtained from the competent authorities.
- Provide the cataloguing form at the Library/FCM, using the online form available at: https://ficha.sbu.unicamp.br/

* Items 3, 4 and 5 must be part of the final thesis file (3 and 4 depending on the format/theme);

- Adapt the final file to the guidelines of the Manual de normalização, elaboração, procedimentos e orientações para apresentação de teses e dissertações.

FOR DEFENSES REQUESTED VIA SIGA - SENDING THE FINAL VERSION
Students who have requested a defense via the Academic Management System (SIGA), in the event of approval or conditional approval, will have 60 days to upload their final version to SIGA. Within 45, 30 and 15 days, emails will be sent to the student and advisor informing them of the need to do so. The dissertation/thesis will have to be validated once again by the secretariat and advisor, before being sent to the PRPG for approval.
