Reinstatement under Article 15

General Regulations for Stricto Sensu and Lato Sensu Graduate Programs

“Article 15 – Exceptionally, at the request of the advisor and after analysis by the Graduate Studies Committee (CPG), a student whose enrollment has been canceled due to exceeding the maximum completion time may enroll one final time, exclusively for the purpose of defending their dissertation or thesis, which must be completed within six months of reinstatement, provided that the following requirements are met cumulatively:

I – Has completed all credits;

II – Has been approved in the qualification exam;

III – Has completed the dissertation or thesis, with a statement from the advisor attesting that they have completed all requirements and are ready to defend.

Sole Paragraph. Enrollment in courses during the regular academic period to which this admission refers is prohibited.”

The request for Reinstatement under Article 15 must be made by the advisor and student to the Program Secretary through:

- Official Letter  (Re-entry Request Template) 

- Proof of submission (Master's) / acceptance (Doctorate) of the Journal.

Important: The request must be sent by email to: pgscfcm@unicamp.br. The approval/processing time for the reinstatement request is 30 days.
