Admission as a Special Student

SPECIAL STUDENT

This is a student who is not enrolled in a postgraduate course at the university and has a
degree, but is authorized by the Course Coordinator to take one or more isolated subjects in
a given academic term, provided there are vacancies and the criteria required by the
teachers responsible for the subjects are met.

Those interested should check the information on the subjects on offer on the program's
homepage, under “Keep an eye out!”.

Questions about the registration period for the courses can be answered on the page in the Postgraduate Academic Calendar.

Enrolling in these subjects as a Special Student does not constitute any link with the Master's
or Doctorate course, however, it allows the student to take subjects that are part of the
course curriculum and, eventually, when they join the Program as a Master's or Doctorate
student, they may have the credits of the subjects taken used, at the discretion of the
Postgraduate Coordination.
