Assistant Professor of SMS - UNICAMP - the only Brazilian lecturer at the American Society of Anesthesiologists Congress

School of Medical Sciences (SMS), University of Campinas (Unicamp) assistant professor from Anesthesiology, Radiology and Oncology Department, Vanessa Henriques Carvalho MD, TSA, MSc, Ph.D., DESAIC was the only Brazilian giving lecture representing Brazil and South America at the ASA meeting 2021 (The Anesthesiology Annual Meeting from American Society of Anesthesiologists) that took place in San Diego, California, from October 8th to 12nd.  ASA meeting is one of the largest and respectful congresses in the anesthesiology field all over the world.

"It was a unique opportunity and I felt extremely honored in representing my country and my peers in this huge and important Congress. My lecture was about Improving Maternal and Fetal Outcomes Internationally and I divided the panel with Dr. Cynthia Wong from the University of Iowa, USA, and Dr. Reiko Ohara from Japan. Furthermore, I am also happy to improve my work and highlight UNICAMP internationally", said professor Carvalho whose is also a Diplomate of the European Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (DESAIC).
