Professors interested in joining the teaching staff of the Postgraduate Program in Collective
Health (PPG-SC) should formalize their request by e-mail, sending a brief Work Plan to be
developed with the PPG-SC to the program secretariat (pgscfcm@unicamp.br). This plan
must include participation in research and teaching, with the specifications described below:
Research: Partnership - the new lecturer must, at least at the beginning of their time in the
program, take part in a research project already underway in the PPG-SC, in partnership with
a lecturer in the program. Planning for projects and fundraising - the plan should include the
preparation of projects that will be developed with funding. Planning for scientific production -
prospects, continuity and consistency of scientific publication in national and international
journals.
Teaching: Collaboration in program subjects - planning for minimum collaboration in
compulsory or optional PPG-SC subjects. Orientations - orientation perspective considering
that the PPG-SC professor must maintain a regular number of students, starting with
master's orientation (if accredited, the professor may have up to two master's students).
Once received, the application will be evaluated by the Program Committee.
IMPORTANT:
In addition to the evaluation of the Work Plan, it is suggested that, for admission to the
PPG-SC, the professor (with the exception of the young doctor) should have a minimum level
of annual publications related to research:
- 1 article published in journals evaluated in qualis strata A3 or above, or
- 2 articles published in journals evaluated in qualis stratum A4, or
- 1 book published evaluated in strata L4 or above, or
- 2 books published evaluated in strata L5, or
- 1 chapter published in a book evaluated in stratum L1, or
- 2 chapters published in books evaluated in strata L4 or above.
