The medical student Michael Neugebauer, from Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria, finished his internships at School of Medical Sciences (SMS), University of Campinas (Unicamp). For eight weeks from October to November 2023, he attended in Cardiology, Infectology and Pneumology areas of Medical Clinic Department. Michel told about his entire experience in Campinas.

“My internship experience has been a journey filled with invaluable learning, warm connections, and cherished memories. Over the course of eight weeks, I had the privilege of immersing myself in the hospital environment, surrounded by a team of dedicated professionals who not only welcomed me with open arms but also imparted their expertise generously.

During my time at Clinical Hospital, I had the opportunity to gain invaluable expertise across various facets of healthcare. From shadowing seasoned professionals to actively participating in patient care, each day presented new challenges and learning opportunities. I honed my clinical skills, developed a deeper understanding of medical procedures, and gained insights into the complexities of healthcare delivery.

Beyond the professional growth, I am immensely grateful for the friendships forged and the memories created during my internship.
