From March to May 2024, the medical student Laura Mejia Guzman, from Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia, did internship at Tocogynecology Department of School of Medical Sciences (SMS), Unicamp.  Laura shared her experience:

“For two months I was able to share with the gynecology and obstetrics team from Unicamp. I am very grateful for the reception and warmth they gave me. I had the chance to rotate through different services inside the hospital, involving outpatient attending, surgical center, ultrasound, emergency room and different academic activities with interns and residents.

Undoubtedly this was such an enriching experience, not only from all the things I learnt from the specialty itself, because of the number of specialized options they offer inside the hospital, but for the staffs’ priceless human kindness, and the patience and willingness from the Portuguese lessons that came along with medicine! Muito obrigada a todas as pessoas que fizeram parte da minha experiência. Foi muito especial!”, finished the student.
