Gynecological Oncology Symposium receives many professors and healthcare providers at Caism

The Division of Gynecology Oncology and Mastology of Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of School of Medial Sciences (SMS) of University of Campinas (Unicamp) received a good public with professors, medical residents, researchers, students, and healthcare providers for the Gynecological Oncology Symposium - Immunology Oncology in Cancer of Ovary, on Tuesday, August 14th, 2018, at Woman’s Hospital Dr. José Aristodemo Pinotti - CAISM.

Prof. Oliver Dorigo, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Stanford University Medical Center, Palo Alto, CA, USA, was the special guest presenting two lectures: “Exploring DNA Repair Deficiencies in Ovarian Cancer - Changing Therapeutic Paradigms” and “Immunotherapy in ovarian cancer”.

The event had the participation of professors Sophie F. Mauricette Derchain (Symposium coordinator), Adriana Yoshida, Amilcar Barreta, Cesar Cabello, Diama Vale (Symposium coordinator), Fernando Guimaraes, Joana Fróes Bragança Bastos, Júlio Cesar Teixeira, Luis Felipe Sallum, Luís Otávio Z. Sarian (Director of CAISM), Luiz Carlos Zeferino (Dean of SMS - Unicamp), Rodrigo Fernandes da Silva, Susana Oliveira B. Ramalho, from the Division of Gynecology Oncology and Mastology of Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics; Carmen Silvia Passos Lima, José Barreto C. Carvalheira, and Vivian Antunes de Vasconcelos, from Division of Oncology of Department of Medical Clinics; and Liliana Aparecida Andrade, from Department of Pathology of SMS - Unicamp. Approximately 50 people attended the event.
